Neighbors Sharing Food and Friendship,
Because Everyone Matters!
In 2009, Cheney School District's Free and Reduced lunch rates were rising and there was not a community service to feed families a hot, nourishing meal. Many of Cheney's community safety net programs are not open after 5pm.
Feed Cheney has evolved into a year-round free monthly scratch-made meal and community hub for volunteering. There are no paid staff or administrators for Feed Cheney! We are a small group of Cheney residents who believe in the mission of Feed Cheney and through our church's and community affiliations, volunteer our time and talents to organize and solicit donations to maintain Feed Cheney. |
Feed Cheney is most often on the last Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.
